“This machine works but has many issues. It was diagnosed and I was told it needs a new board in it which would probably cost around $200. I have never repaired an MPC and have been meaning to repair this machine but at this point I have given up on it. Still can make beats on it… Working around the buttons that are sticky. Also there are part u can hear rattling around in the machine. For an avid mpc user who has fixed machines before this may be an easy fix. ” Akai MPC1000 Black with the JJOS2XL already paid for. The unit is in great condition. Very clean and well cared for (besides normal, but very minimal, wear due to old age). Upgraded pad sensors with white fat pads. Equipped with the maximum RAM capacity upgrade. Switched out the stock green screen for a beatiful white screen. The only cosmetic imperfection I can think of is tiny chips inside one of the side panels (not noticeable and doesn’t actually hinder the side panels in any way). This is a fully upgraded unit and saves you time, effort, and money if you were planning on upgrading an MPC1000 anyway.
