“Hello, eBayers. I have for selling the AKAI MPC1000 Music Production Center Sampling machine Black with Power Supply. As you see in the pictures this unit in isn’t good cosmetic condition, but the gear does power up. Nevertheless I think that this unit doesn’t working properly. Perhaps you can easily fix it or use it for spare parts. I pressed a few buttons and it turned out that some of the buttons works, the caption on the screen has changed. Some buttons need to be pressed little harder so that they switch. Please understand me correctly, I do not guarantee that everything works on this gear. This machine is not familiar to me, so I cannot test it completely, for this reason I put it up for sale as for not working or parts. It is possible that everything is working fine on this drum machine or there are some shortcomings. But in order to avoid further problems, I have listed it in very low price.”

This MPC1000 is lightly used and has some typical wear from age, not from use. I got more into guitar, just after after purchasing this. I am sorry, I do not have the original box, but do have the original Owners Manual, Quick Manual and power cord(not shown). The included Compact Flash card is 256MB, the machine can support a 2GB card.

“Someone gave me this unit as part ex for a synth, to be honest I don’t know the first thing about how to use it, it seems to boot up fine (JJOS version) and I get some sounds but some buttons need an extra press, and there aren’t sounds across all pads, to be honest I think it just needs a clean of some contacts and either a reset or new OS loading, but could be entirely user error! Has a small scuff on the top (see pic 5) but included are 3 adhesive skins (one LinnDrum style!) if you wish to pimp it a bit. The black fat pads (marked ‘MPC Stuff’ from the US) already make it look better than standard (it’s the ‘BK’ version so has the newer sensors I believe, well it must do to have the fat pads!), but the original grey pads are included too, as is a 32gb memory card, plus a UK power lead. Screen is nice and bright, ends are undamaged, everything is clean and compete, all in all a nice little project for someone, sold as seen.
