“Akai MPC 1000, this is the black edition with updated pad sensors. I changed the face plate as the black one has a lot of wear. Hard drive installed (will remove samples before shipping). Mpc fat stuff pads added recently, very little use. All pads working and all buttons working. I have replaced any buttons showing wear recently and the machine was resoldered before I bought it six months ago (according to the previous owner).

Nice new blue screen recently fitted.
The MPC stuff pad upgrade kit has been fitted also so the pads are working like new.
Comes with JJ OS1 Version 4.99 (paid version). 128Mb RAM installed.
Have tested everything & it’s all working 100%. Buttons, jog wheel & sliders are all working properly etc. No sticky buttons.
No CF card included but CF card reader is working fine.
Power kettle lead included.

All button appear to be working in great order. Been babied. sat in a clean space with a Otterbox case while the 2500 was used. This was a back up.

“In good condition with a fair few scuffs and marks all over but in full working order, see photos for more. I’ve given it a proper clean inside and out.

The plastic inside the D button has broken off so it’s a bit squished in but still works.

Tact switches are showing their age as a few buttons take some pressing to respond but they’re all still functional. It’s a common issue with the 1000 and 500 but they can be replaced with a bit of soldering.

Pads all work great and this model has the newer style pad sensors so no need to upgrade.

128MB RAM update installed.

Currently running JJOS Free.

Includes a 2GB CF card. Not the original Akai one but contains the original Akai contents.

Box and manuals included, a bit tatty though (see photos).”
