Side plates were painted red. Some paint wear & light surface scratches.
Pads work great.
A few buttons are a little weak to touch. Still work you just have to press harder. I have not taken unit apart or cleaned inside.
Has been in a indoor storage for years.

“Akai MPC 1000 spares/repair. Data wheel wasn’t working so I tried to solder a new one in and messed up the soldering (see pic). Buttons are responsive but can’t test for sound without the data wheel. Sold as seen. Couple of small (<1cm) scratches on the paintwork which I'm not sure are visible in the pics. 128mb RAM, Akai OS, no box, kettle lead included. UK only. No offers. Cheers."
