MPC 1000

“Here’s a fully functional MPC 1000 in beautiful condition. This was my personal MPC, and it was very well taken of. This is the black model with the black back. The earlier models of the MPC 1000 had faulty pads, but these have the upgraded pads. I opened the machine and the pads and the sensor below the pads are both a single sheet, not the individual sensors that the bad pads have. All the pads, buttons, knobs, inputs / outputs work very well as they are intended to.

I’m running the JJOS free version for the OS on this. It’s basically the most up to date stock Akai OS, but with all the bug / glitch fixes and a couple extra features. I never felt a reason to upgrade to JJOS2XL, but it is also installed on the machine. You just won’t be able to save any of your work on the JJOS2XL OS unless you pay for the full version.

There’s some very minor marks on a little area of the MPC frame, I took a picture of them. Also one of the 4 rubber feet needed to be re-glued and it slipped up a little. “Used Akai MPC1000 for sale. There are two issues: the right side plate is somewhat busted and comes off easily, and a replacement would be around $10 online. The other issue is the “up” button–this button needs a new tactile switch which can be found online. This MPC1000 has JJOS, and will come with the power cable, which is not shown.

I brought it down last week to test, its all working 100%. Unit does work, but is missing a few knobs, some buttons are pushed in , One of the side covers has broken tabs, so it will not snap on. There are also scratches through out. This is the version with the good pads i.e. the surrounding ones move when you tweak one, they are also in perfect condition.
