“Here’s a fully functional MPC 1000 in very good used condition. All the pads, buttons, knobs, inputs / outputs work well as they are intended to.

The data wheel is ugly, but works perfect. The next sequence button is slightly depressed on one side, but it’s always worked in one try for me. All the buttons / features on this machine work without having to smash on them.

The machine has a maxed out 128MB Ram and is running the JJOS2XL 3.53 & JJOS 3.16 free version for the OS’ on the MPC. JJOS2XL has not been paid for, so you won’t be able to use the save function unless you decide to upgrade and pay for a password. The JJOS 3.16 is basically the most up to date stock Akai OS, but with all the bug / glitch fixes and a couple extra features. This OS will allow you to save. “Here’s a maxed out MPC 1000 in great used condition. Has the full paid version of JJOS2XL, a 120GB internal hard drive (very quiet too) installed & working, upgraded pad version, 4 GB sandisk CF card. I also just installed new buttons & a new data wheel on all except the big transpose buttons & tap tempo.

This is the black model with the black back. The earlier models of the MPC 1000 had faulty pads, but these have the upgraded pads. I opened the machine and the pads and the sensor below the pads are both a single sheet, not the individual sensors that the bad pads have. All the pads, buttons, knobs, inputs / outputs work well. Sometimes a couple of the buttons take a good press or a 2nd try, but everything works. The previous owner put a little ink marking on the bottom rubber of some of the pads, it never bothered me though. ” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay

“I am selling my complete setup for the AKAI MPC 1000, this has upgraded pads from MPC Stuff (cost $200), as well as max RAM of 128MB, and a Compact Flash 8GB memory card. Included are 2 auxiliary cables to record in and out at the same time, fits 3.5mm jack that most PCs and Macs use. Can record into DAW. Also includes MIDI cable. The Memory is also loaded with kits that I used to use and may be useful to you too.
The unit itself is in perfect working condition with only minor scratches on the paint.
Does not come with JJOS license.”
