” For sale is an Akai MPC 1000 with JJOS 3.16 installed and maxed out internal memory of 128 MB. It has Fat Pads that are black as well as other black hardware upgrades. Black and White screen upgrade included too (there is a slight gradient inconsistency in the brightness but it is almost unnoticeable after the initial boot screens pass on startup). Also including the original hardware, gray pads and screen.

Included is a 2GB memory card as well as a 32gb memory card (although apparently any cards over 2gb can be susceptible to data loss so I didn’t use this one more than once). The 2 original manuals are also included.

“My daily driver but moving on. Has the RAM upgrade for a total of 128MB (max), JJOS1 v4.99 (free version IIRC). Used regularly and tested again for sale. Sliders are good, double-checked for smooth scrolling through numerical values w/o jumps. Pads seem good and all trigger as expected but are original.

Some sticker residue and a little bit of a patina on some of the exposed metal, see photos.

“Very lightly used mpc 1000 in excellent condition. I am the original owner and the mpc has always been stored in a smoke free environment.
Updated with jjos os2xl version 3.53 and the 128mb of ram,32mb akai bonus track sounds.. I haven’t used this unit in some time. Before selling i have tested the mpc. The data wheel seemed to be a little sensitive. Also the cursor buttons need a direct/firm press. “This machine turns on, the screen light works well. Does not have JJOS but it does have the chip card that goes in the bottom of the machine for MPC Version. Idk how it works, I hear some drum kits but it’s not loud even when I put full level… Not sure if it needs more work to be fixed or needs new parts or whatever… I really never used it at all.
