“For sale is my Akai MPC 1000. This is the black version. Excellent condition. The left side panel has a scuff on it and the panel is slightly loose. Its been that way since I got it. Maxed memory and Internal hard drive. USB connectivity. The screen is perfect and all buttons and knobs work. When I bought this originally, the guy had it in a box in the closet for 6 years not used. I recently bought the MPC Live so something has to go to fund that purchase. Currently running Free JJOS. “Comes with original box and instruction manual. I’ve had it less than a year with 1 previous owner and it’s in great condition. These things are fantastic! I’m looking to purchase some much needed studio upgrades so have to part ways. Since I bought it I’ve installed 128mb of internal RAM and the JJOS (demo version) operating system, far superior to Akai’s default in my opinion.
No defects on the screen and very few scratches to the unit. There are 2 buttons missing (Numeric and UP) but can be easily replaced. Thankfully there’s still a huge online community for MPC fanatics so resources for new parts are readily accessible.
