“Comes with original box and instruction manual. I’ve had it less than a year with 1 previous owner and it’s in great condition. These things are fantastic! I’m looking to purchase some much needed studio upgrades so have to part ways. Since I bought it I’ve installed 128mb of internal RAM and the JJOS (demo version) operating system, far superior to Akai’s default in my opinion.
No defects on the screen and very few scratches to the unit. There are 2 buttons missing (Numeric and UP) but can be easily replaced. Thankfully there’s still a huge online community for MPC fanatics so resources for new parts are readily accessible.

” After booting it up for the first time I discovered that the Undo button is physically damaged and therefore very loose. The button does still work when balanced in the right position, but it is very awkward to use like this and it is only a matter of time before it breaks loose completely and gets lost inside the machine. At this point I also discovered that the Right directional button did not work at all. The cursor up button requires a harder push sometimes, but is functional. All other controls feel great and respond well. Sound is clear from all inputs and outputs.
