“Here is a listing for my trusted Akai MPC 1000 sampler/sequencer/workstation in black. If you’re in the market to buy one then you’ll likely know what this machine can do – it’s all you need for making sample based hip-hop with that groove/swing that Akai’s famous for. It comes used but in perfect working condition with only a few light scruffs you’d expect from a used item. I’ve fully expanded the RAM to 128mb and it comes installed with JJOS, which is a third-party operating system designed for the MPC1000 and is well known for its advantages over the stock system installed. If required, you can re-install the Akai’s original operating system – very quick/easy to do and you can find the instructions online. I’m selling as it’s a piece of hardware that I just don’t seem to use that much anymore in my studio – if someone else gets more out of it than I do than all the better!”

Pads seem to need to be pressed harder than normal, sensitivity may need to be adjusted. Pad 11 button pad doesn’t seem to be seated quite right.
