“The pads work extremely well and have the best feel and velocity response out of all the different hardware I’ve worked with. This was the centerpiece of my DAWless setup and would work well as the centerpiece for music production and live performance. The features the come with the upgraded operating system (jjos2xl) are crucial for production and the quality of life they provide make this machine a pleasure to work with. All buttons and features are working properly and the screen is still easy to see and has a long life ahead of it. Running on JJ OS Version 3.13, upgraded FAT pads installed for better feel and reaction from the sensors, also installed are wooden side panels for a classy look. Note: Only one side installed currently. The other side is included as well as adhesive pads and original side panels.

“Selling my used MPC1000 that I made hip hop beats with back in the day.
The flash card has 2GB of storage, although there’s a number of old sounds, programs, sequences, etc on the card already. Feel free to use or delete whatever you like.
The red piece on the left side has broken off, but I’m including it with the MPC because it could be fixed.
I have purchased the JJOS OS2XL (costs $123, never any discounts) and that is installed on the MPC. The JJOS is an enormous improvement over the official Akai OS, and will greatly increase workflow speed and reduce hassle.
The RAM stick provides roughly 128MB of short term memory to load sounds for use in sequencing. (Slightly less, as some is used for what I imagine is OS/device config stuff.)
Also included is a card reader so you can view the card’s contents on your laptop/PC, and transfer files if needed. (This is also a great way to backup your MPC files, i.e. on your computer.)” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Cosmetically the unit has very minimal scrapes and scratches (see pics). The internal memory has been expanded to the maxed 128mb for maximum sample time and the operating system is JJOS version 3.16 (free version).
