“Used AKAI Professional MPC 1000 with JJ OS installed. I have not personally used this machine it was bought about six or seven years ago with intentions of learning it but I never did. Machine seems to work fine from my little use of it. There is a surface scratch on the screen and to the left of pad 5 shown in the pictures. Also the left side panel is broken and can be glued on if you don’t have any plans of customizing it or you could purchase another. There are no other imperfections to note. Akai Professional MPC-1000 Sampling Work Station for Spares/Repair

The unit turns on, during start up “Version 3.48” displays along with “128MB Installed” and the unit starts up as it should (see pictures). The screen display is fine with a fully operational backlight.

There are two obvious issues by just looking and handling the unit. Firstly, button “F6” is pushed in and does not operate. Secondly, the left side end panel falls off very easily (see pictures).

We have not tested the operation of the unit however, all buttons (F6 not included) seems to operate correctly. Cosmetically, there are scratches to the casing. We have not tested the MIDI capability, USB, Memory card slot or any input/output sockets so we are not aware if they operate correctly, hence this unit is sold for spares/repair only. “ Click here to search for MPCs on eBay
