A stunning example of an MPC 1000 in fantastic working condition. Vibrant display and lights and fully working responsive buttons. Slight issue with the scroll wheel skipping a click whilst browsing and editing — something you get used to quite quickly, however.

Fell out of favour for me personally, coupled with moving house and downscaling my setup- decided it was time to move it on for an owner who could give it the loving and dedication this instrument deserves.”

“This is my MPC1000 that I used sparingly as a backup for my solo act. I created my own samples of drums, pianos, bass, organs, strings, horns, sax, plus my own backing tracks for a variety of music styles. My average age I played for was 40-80 yrs old. I made my own tracks to play guitar and sing to.

This MPC1000 is in pristine condition. Everything works flawlessly. It has 128mb ram as well as the JJ OS2XL 3.48 Operator system. I am including the compact flash of my sounds as well as my backing tracks I created over the past 12 years. There must be 250+ songs included. Think of the hours you’ll have to spend to create this many songs.

I separated the instruments into different outputs so I could mix them live on stage with a mixer. I used the 4 individual ouputs and the left-right to give me 6 outputs of different instruments. worked like a charm.”

Akai MPC 1000 (red/black MPC stuff colourway). Fully functional and well maintained within a smoke-free studio. 128mb RAM installed running JJOS v 3.16. MPC will be provided with kettle lead power cable and a few low memory compact flash cards. Only cosmetic faults I would draw attention to are the faded look on the memory card slot and the REC button (both pictured for your own judgement). Bank button B is a tad stiff but functions fine. Screen appears slightly titled as photographed, although no text or borders are cut off from view.”
