” Up for sale is a well loved but fully functional Akai MPC-1000 that comes with an Akai brand 4gb memory card. I have replaced the stock pads with the FAT pads from mpcstuff.com and they are super responsive and satisfying to use! It is missing the red sides and one fader cap as pictured but everything works 100% as expected. I hate to sell it but it hasn’t been used as much as it was in the past and I’d like to see it go to a loving home where it is enjoyed more often. Thanks for looking!”

“Item Description: This Akai MPC 1000 Music Production Center Sampler & Sequencer is listed for parts/repair because it hasn’t been fully tested, it’s basically just been plugged in for a few moments and had some pictures taken of it. One thing that jumped out with this unit is that it’s screen is VERY DIM, almost impossible to see under normal lighting conditions. Includes a 2gb flash drive.”

“Bought it in 2016, I’ve had a lot of fun with it a handful of times but it deserves to be with someone who will play it. It’s in very good condition.

There are a couple of slight scratches on the top left of the screen but as you can see from the photos they are very difficult to see.

I replaced the rubber feet on the bottom and the Q-link slider knob. The original is like the one on the slider above. I’ll include the original knob in the box. It just has a slight crack in it that could perhaps be repaired.

Pads are all working great. Previous listing said the sensors were upgraded.
