“Used & fully functional MPC 2000XL. Has maxed out 32MB Ram, installed CF Drive & 1 GB Card loaded with drum samples & already programmed across the pads & edited. Screen looks great, everything works just like it should. The note variation slider works,but it seems to be drifting. It’s hard to use it to dial in an exact spot when editing wave forms, so I just use shift + arrows and the jog wheel. The slider does work though. “Hi everyone,
Sadly it’s time to say goodbye to this great bit of kit. I’ve owned it for a few years and bought it new from Music Store but I can’t keep it forever if I don’t use it. I stopped doing music a few years ago so this beast is crying for a new owner.
Saying I never really got to use it as much as I wanted to is an understatement – I’ve hardly ever touched it. But I’ve been super careful with its storage and maintenance throughout which you can tell by its near mint condition (only two small dents, please check photos) and the fact that it still has the original plastic film protecting the screen’s front and back.
One thing slightly annoying, at least for me, about these machines is that sometimes when you click the arrow buttons they advance two clicks instead of one. This machine is no exception but it only happens once in a while. Maybe the JJ OS fixes things like these?

Vintage AKAI Filter from the late 1999/2000s. This is a later model as you can tell from the style of the AKAI logo on the box and unit itself.
It’s warm and versatile analog filter that can be use in conjunction with MPCs or standalone. Works especially well with the MPC 2000XL with the MFC-KIT and that attaches it to the MPC.
It’s had very little use and is in excellent cosmetic and operational condition.
