“Hello, this listing is for a refurbished Akai MPC 2500 by MPCstuff. I ordered this MPC straight from MPCstuff.com close to 2 years ago. Since then I’ve only used it a handful of times. The protective film on the screen is still there. I really thought I would create music but I learned I’m more of a collector/listener. Time to let go of this unit so someone else can make use of it. It’s got a CD drive, 128mb of memory, big XL screen, thick yellow pads, JJ128OS V2.14. Comes with a 2gb flash card with a lot of sample folders I put on there. Everything is in working condition, all buttons, inputs, outputs function like they should. ” Beautiful example of this exceptional sampler! Condition is almost flawless, screen still nice and bright, paint has only a few little scuffs around the mounting points.
Admittedly, my phone makes the controls look ‘yellowed’ (as many examples are). Please be assured that this is not the case on this example, it’s just that I took the photos when the sun was setting directly outside the window! All the plastic parts are as they should be.
This one has all the stuff it should, extra filter board, EB-16 FX card, 8-Outs, 16mb RAM. All that good stuff. Nothing has been taken out of it!

“This Akai MPC2000XL Midi Production Center was used for many years and lines in the screen burnt out to the point where the screen is no longer usable. This is being sold as-is, but the only thing I know is wrong with it is the screen. I have been able to test the following as working:
– All pads tested and working
– All indicator lights tested and working
– Data knob, cursor buttons, function buttons, number buttons, bank buttons, stop and play buttons all tested and working
– The software works – sequencer plays, can navigate to different screens, etc
– Midi out works and the pads can trigger sounds on another midi device
This is a powerhouse of a sampler and sequencer and can be further expanded with additional audio outputs and modern storage solutions.
