Akai S3000XL with 32MB RAM, EB-16

“This listing is for a 19” rack Akai S3000 xl sampler. It has 32MB of built in memory and a rather rare EB16 FX board installed. I believe some samplers didn’t ship with the 8 way audio out installed too so it may be worth mentioning that it has that. The display is very dim and required tweaking to be able to read – I believe these can be replaced. The pictures of the screen haven’t been edited but I did need to catch it at the right angle in order to get it on the viewfinder. Whilst it’s technically usable I think it would be rather a strain on the eyes after many hours working with it. The pictures provided hopefully capture the cosmetic condition. The biggest issue with it I would say is the rack mount on the top left corner, I’d guess it’s bent a little from being racked incorrectly over time. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“This AKAI Sampler S3000 XL is a powerful tool for music production, with 16MWord RAM. The old floppy drive has been replaced with a more modern SD Card reader for easy transfer of sounds. Also comes with a little box containing various old Akai and other third party sample libraries on SD cards as well as a power cable.

From searching online I believe 16 MWord ram is equivalent to 32 Megabytes of ram.

Cosmetically it shows signs of age with some rust spots and has a small scuff on the screen.
