“For sale my beloved AKAI MPC 1000
It’s latest version with upgraded pad sensors so they never need replacing.
Mpc is black overall but have orange skin/protector installed that can be easily taken off.
It also have black pads, satin black buttons, volume/record knob, CF card slot and data wheel.
Data wheel has been upgraded recently from a plastic potentiometer into a metal one made by ALPS and this brand is very solid as stock AKAI potentiometers often failing in 1000 and 2500. Data wheel is now sensitive as twice before so for example when editing waveform, everything can be done much quicker and it’s also smooth when turning. It was fully cleaned inside when potentiometer was changed but you can see it’s been well taken care of even when looking at the bottom of it.
It also have 128mb sampling memory upgrade fitted.
JJOS operating system installed and this is best operating system ever made for MPC.
Last picture shows it in home made case where it’s been stored all the time.
I can sell it with it just let me know if you need it.
All buttons working as they should, none of them need more force to press and this is common issue in these so ask other sellers about it as well. ”
