“Akai MPC 1000 spares/repair. Data wheel wasn’t working so I tried to solder a new one in and messed up the soldering (see pic). Buttons are responsive but can’t test for sound without the data wheel. Sold as seen. This is industry standard vintage 12 bit sound.

Reluctantly selling as I’ve struggled to dedicate the time to using this piece of equipment and too bulky to use in a live environment. I’ve not made much use of it over the last 10 years and have only tinkered at home so feel it should be in the hands of someone who can make better use.

Few age related marks on top of the case mainly but all working as it should. I’ll include a very basic sample pack of floppy discs and the printed manual (even though you can easily download as I did)

I’ve had this unit along with many other pieces of gear for about 6 months, and many of it was hardly ever used because I’ve returned to work full-time. Everything I own has been pampered and gently handled. Any scratches or nicks are usually 99% from a previous owner unless I bought new. I’m super careful with my stuff.
