This MPC 2000xl is in immaculate shape. The case and internals are super clean. The data pot has been replaced and new fat pads installed.
The optional 8 outputs and effects card have been installed. 32 mgb of ram is installed along with a floppy reader for storage.
Included is the original floppy system card and additional new floppy disks.

” This is an Akai S900 12-bit 2U Digital MIDI Sampler in good condition. It still powers up and appears to be in working condition. We do not have any floppies to load music from, but it did appear to format the floppy when we put the disk in. A knob and part of another knob are missing but otherwise this unit appears to be in great shape. It was used in a production studio and has been in storage for several years. A few light scratches are on the case, but otherwise this unit is in great shape.”

MPC stuff screen, rotary encoder, Gotek Floppy Disc Simulator newly installed.
Seems newly installed screen works well, but sometimes make bug (apparently MPC stuff screen has always that issues)

The price is to reflect, the mods, JJOS license and that it is highly unlikely it will need any further servicing for at least a few years.
There’s around 800 in parts and labour in the last 12 months…
* Large Screen – Blue
* 128 MB RAM

* Blacked out buttons (most replaced with actual black except erase key and cursor keys)

* JJOS 128xl (the board is also licensed for JJOSXL if you want to put it back to small screen)
* Bought as refurbished and modded from 16Squarez in 2013
* Small tact switches replaced in 2017
* Brand new large tact switches
* Has brand new rotary encoder (a bit less clicky)
* Brand new sensor pad
* Cosmetic wear and tear and a very slight crack in one cheek end.”
