The screen is quite old & will need replacing as it is quite difficult to see in a certain light. “Up for bids is an Akai MPC 2000 classic with maxed memory, the EB-16 effects board, a brand new LCD screen from MPC Stuff, a new fader installed, all buttons are brand new except the blue ones, and it comes with the original manual and two OS disks running OS 1.72. the MPC is in good condition, with a few knicks around the edges that I tried to capture in the photos. Seems newly installed screen works well, but sometimes make bug (apparently MPC stuff screen has always that issues)

“For sale is a refurbished Akai Mpc Classic with the 8 Out Expansion board ($300+ value). The memory is maxed out for maximum sample time and loading more data/sounds. Tact switches have been replaced. All buttons, slider and knobs are fully functional. SCSI port is installed for external storage devices.

The screen has been upgraded to a new blue LCD screen. A USB floppy drive emulator has been installed for convenience, easy saving, and loading. Up to 700 “floppy” disk can be named and used on the provided USB stick. The OS is on the USB stick as well. This system is easy to use. Insert the stick before powering on. The Mpc looks for the OS disk. If not already selected, use the buttons on the drive to select the OS 1.72 disk. The machine will load the OS and it is ready to work. Some programs/Kits are preloaded on the USB stick. Simply navigate to the “floppy” you want to load. Shift 3 to load, the selected “floppy” will show, as well as its files.
