“The MPC 500 is a great sampler and sequencer. I’ve upgraded it to 128MB ram. The original power supply is included. It has a 2GB CF card, and pair of midi cables. I am also including a data cable so you can connect it to your computer for sample management. There is a very popular piece of software called MPC Maid which makes it even easier to prepare kits. I do not have the original box or manual, but the manual is available online.

“For sale is an Akai Mpc 3000. It has max memory, serviced tact switches, new pad sensor, and a new LCD screen. The floppy drive and SCSI port works. Included is a 100MB external SCSI zip drop. All I/O has been cleaned and serviced. The unit does not produce hum noise, as some some units do at this age. Only blemishes are the print is faded on some of the transport keys and very few scratches on the casing. “Akai MPC 500, sampler, fully expanded 128GB memory, in Very Good used condition. Battery or mains operated so you can use it anywhere!

Had little use since I bought it – comes with all original manuals, original Akai CF card with sound library plus two additional blank cards I bought. I still have the polystyrene inner packaging and original AC adaptor etc. however I’ve looked all over my house and can’t find the outer box but I’ve got it in a similarly sized black box.

I will also email the winner the below comprehensive MPC500 training guide file I bought which makes a lot more sense than the instruction manual which is worth £29.95!”
