“*PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BEFOR YOU BID* I’m selling my akai S1000 sampler. It has been upgraded to 8 Meg and is flightcased and comes with cracked operating system and a bundle of floppy disks.

It is fully working but has two minor issues. Volume knob is crackly when used so needs a clean or use volume on your mixing desk. The back light on the screen is dim so needs replacing but if you shine a light on it you can still use straight away. NEW ONES COST ABOUT 20-30 pounds. Other than that, everything is working fine. I’ve had it for 30 years and looked after it. It’s a glorious machine and I’ve produced several albums with it.

I’m also throwing in a whole heap of floppy disks. There’s samples on there that you can use or wipe, it’s up to you. These also come in a flight case. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Selling an upgraded Akai SO1/S01 Rackmount Sampler unit. Very nice condition for it’s age and fully working order. This is the standard 1MB version and does not have the rare EMX001 ram expansion.
(It did have one but it was sold separately last year to a hen that needed it’s teeth back). 😀

– Old floppy drive now removed and fitted with high-end USB Floppy Drive Emulator & 16GB key by cpmagneticmedia ltd.

– Large sound library included with floppy emulator on the 16gb usb key.. (over 400 sample disk images, & 1,000 blanks for your own use).

Perfect working order, Nice condition with ‘original Box’ & Manuals, all tactile buttons and rotary controller work perfectly. You will be very hard pushed to fine one of these in such fantastic condition.

A few miniscule scratches on the unit but again it is fully working.”
