I have been restoring Akai Rack Samplers for over 5 years now, and have had more rack samplers pass through my possession than you’d believe.
However, the sampler I’ve listed is the one I’ve kept for personal use. It’s one of the best condition S950’s I’ve come across, with only a few minor knocks and scratches as expected for a unit of its age.
I’ve decided to sell my prized sampler as I haven’t been producing much, and I’d rather someone else get the use out of it.
It’s been freshly serviced and tested by myself before listing to the sampler is 100% living up to its potential.
A USB Gotek has been installed with classic sound libraries already installed, ready to use.
An LED Screen in Blue and White has also been freshly installed, giving the user full visibility of the screen, compared to the old model.
