“I used this sampler back in the 90s and it’s been sat doing nothing for the last 20 or so years taking up space at home. I got it out the other day to see what condition it’s in and I’m impressed – pretty nice looking after a quick wipe down, a few very minor scratches and a couple of slight dents you can hardly even see on the photos.
I didn’t have a power cable so ordered the connector (£4) and put one together, tested it and it works! Cable included in this sale.
The RAM is good as seen on the photo of display.
Floppy drive – seems ok but not sure. I have 1 disk and it says the disk is not formatted but it was and did have samples on, just not reading the disk or the disk is corrupted. The drive seems to work but I’m not able to put in a good disk to test it. It makes the right noises and the display shows correct info.
I was able to record some audio via a mic and it played back perfectly. Just not able to save it anywhere.
