Great sampler, probably up there with the S950 in terms of character, punch and usefulness! but obviously not quite there in terms of studio must have fashion itemability……..yet. To be honest they are both very different beasts but the S1100 is more versatile in my opinion.
This one is fully working apart from the floppy drive, but the scsi port has been tested and works fine with my Zip drive and it includes a tiny internal drive (on the internal scsi connection). The backlight as on all these old Akai samplers is very dim. It has 8mb of ram and it’s in very nice cosmetic condition.” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay
