“This sampler was working really well with bright display backlight, with the optional SCSI card installed. However, I just moved house, came to set it up and found that it wouldn’t power up. From reading on line it is probably the power board, which can easily be repaired or swapped out for a cheap modern alternative. I thought about fixing it myself, but just don’t really have the time and I own too many Akai samplers, so rather than have it taking up rack space, I thought I’d sell it on for someone else to love, hopefully someone can bring it back to life.
