Hi, selling my 5K which is in good condition. There are some minor scratches but given the age of the unit not unexpected (check pics). This is a clean unit.
It comes with a 32GB CF card, 80GB hard drive (from memory), DVD RW upgrade, 192 MB max RAM. It has been recapped (replaced all capacitors) including the power supply – power supply units are notorious for going wrong due to bad capacitors (Google this if you need) so this one should be good for a long time.
Another issue that affects this model is backight failure on the LCD. The backlight failed in this one and I have removed the old lamp in the LCD and replaced with a modern led backlight strip so again the LCD should be good for a long time.
This is an excellent machine, has a new pad sensor, new tact switches, 1 x new slide potentiometer all working, a clean unit as mentioned above.
Something to note is the DVD tray sometimes doesn’t pop out – just move the tray edge on the left (as you look at it) to ensure it is clear of the opening and you’re done. The drive could move during transit so just flagging up for completeness.
Loads of samples, sounds, programs and kits on both the hard drive and CF card. ”
