“Akai MPC 4000 With 8 Outs Expansion Card, Efx Card, and More….
For sale is an Akai Mpc 4000. This is the last Akai Mpc before being bought out by Numark. There is a reason producers of the past and today love this machine, like a Mpc 3000 on steroids. The original Mpc “X”, first Mpc able to create keygroups for instrument sampling and playing across a keyboard. It was truly ahead of its time. It features the Akai Z4 sampling engine, allowing up to 96KHZ sampling rate at 24Bit resolution. These parameters can be adjusted for a grittier sound. It is currently set at 44.1KHz, 24Bit. There is plenty info online why this model is legend. This unit has been cleaned, sanitized, and serviced inside out. It has a brand new LCD screen, 512Mb of maxed memory, effects board option, new slider pots and caps, new play buttons, 60GB internal hard drive, which can be upgraded, and the 8 output expansion card installed. New pads and sensor sheet with cork set have been installed. The CD drive malfunctions, however, the USB port works fine for loading and saving. You can use any USB storage device with this unit. SCSI port works perfectly as well. The USB port works great with my 64GB flash drive. The CD drive is the only flaw with this unit. I loaded and saved some samples and a program to the internal hard drive to get you started.”
