Boots up fine, CD-drive opens / closes, tested sampling from a CD and it works great. Audio plays back via headphone jack, did not test the stereo outs or individual outs.
LCD Screen flips up and down fine
This is the extent of my test, outside of purchasing JJOS + installing.
The bad:
– The various switches / buttons / jog wheel could all use some love. Some require you to press pretty hard to register a click, some double click, some take multiple firm presses to register a click, the jog wheel can get funky and has some resistance. I’d recommend replacing the tact switches on probably everything. Is it usable in its current state? Yes. Is it enjoyable to have to press a button firmly 3 times to get it to register? No.
– The unit is pretty scuffed up as you can tell near where your palms rest. The rest (rear) isn’t too bad
