“This is a new, unused, Akai MPC 2000 XL Studio version. This model has the eight outs from the factory and 2mb of ram. This unit was purchased new in Florida and sat in it’s box for several years. I’m the second owner and I’ve only turned it on to verify if it works which it does. One flaw that must be noted – the screen is slightly faint. It’s completely functional with no lines but it just runs slightly dim at some angles. I’ve talked to a couple well known MPC experts that informed me that this is caused by it’s overall age and being stored as long as it was in a hot climate. Everything is functional and other than the screen, the unit shows no signs of use or wear. Included is the original box, some paperwork, Akai sound library cd-rom which does show scratches, an iomega zip drive with the power supply, five brand new iomega 100mb zip disks, five brand new in sealed box Fujifilm 100mb zip disks, 50 new Fujifilm floppy disks, power cord, and two sets of new 3 foot 1/4 cables.
