“This is a classic Akai MPC 2000 that I have had for over 20 years, the past 10 of which have been in storage. The RAM is fully upgraded to 32mb and all pads and functions work great. I believe it may need a new SCSI fuse because when I switch dives it gets stuck on Wait…, but I have no way of checking the SCSI input so it is being sold as-is. It boots up just fine from the floppy drive and can import sample files, but if I try to import whole program files I get disk errors. Most likely the 20 plus year old floppy discs are partially corrupted. With a new USB emulator drive this thing will be in full effect.
