This is a late model with the improved pads – you will not need to spend money on pad upgrade kit.
I upgraded the RAM to 128mb and bought a 4gb storage card for it. This is included.
I also put the free version of JJOS on when I got it but it has been put away in storage ever since. The original Akai OS is on the card if you prefer it.
You are essentially getting a new MPC 1000. There is no wear and tear as it is unused.
