It has been stored ,wrapped up in a dust free , temperature controlled environment since 2004 .
Since listing I have started a sympathetic detailing of the casework and rack ears , one thing I’ve realised is how great the condition is of the pots and inputs / outputs . It was very sensible of me to wrap it up , all those years ago .. well done me !

Unit in very good used condition and never got a lot of use from me . I bought it to pair up with a 2000xl but never got the mounting bracket and wasn’t heavy on the beats like I was previously .
This particular mfc , sports no logo (I presume it was from a time before the new logo replaced the original one ) it hasn’t been removed , it never had one ! and has a stupid low serial number. ( see pic)
I believe it was a dealer demo unit and hence all marks were present when I picked it up . I have taken pics of the worst of the chips and scratches ( all very minor ) but for age of unit I’d consider it low miles 2 owners .! One of which was very careful
No box , no manual ( never had them )
Manual can be sourced easily online and you’ll need to read it , to find out all it can do , I never used any of the midi stuff , just used it for filtering samples that were then resampled into another mpc 2000 or 4000 .” Click here to visit listing on eBay
