I fully upgraded the RAM to 128 MB and added the free JJOS. Never saw a need to upgrade to the paid version. It comes with a 4 GB Compact Flash card plus an adapter with a 128 GB SD card. Both work great.
This is the blue MPC with the separate pads. I’ve heard these are less desirable but honestly they work fine. As a matter of fact I had to reduce the sensitivity because the previous owner had it maxed out and now they feel great.
