The unit includes a CD-ROM(which reads/loads quite quick), 256Mb RAM, and Effects, and this has a one-off design thats inspiring to work with. Akai MPC 2000XL with 32MB RAM, Internal Zip Drive Project Machine

“Classic Akai MPC2000XL upgraded with an internal Zip drive and I believe 32MB / max memory.

Item powers on but is in poor shape and will require repair to be fully functional.

I find the screen to be bright and readable. The pads appear functional (even the one missing the rubber). The “note variation” slider and “data” encoder defintely need to be replaced. The “rec gain” and “main volume” pots are loose. I have not been able to fully test the item and it may require additional repairs than those listed.
