“Akai MPC 2000xl.. fully maxed out:
-8 individual outputs card so you can track parts separately
-EB16 effects board, add reverb/delay, distortion, phaser, chorus, etc all within the MPC2000xl
-full 32mb (maximum) memory
-compact flash card reader (can read/write CF cards up to 1gb)

I am also including a 1GB CF card. if you get a USB CF card reader (you can get on cheap on amazon etc) you can drag and drop samples from your PC onto the card and play them through the MPC. and if you get the (free) 2KXL software, you can drop all your samples and choose which pad and bank you want them on, it will save it as a PGM file and will open up the same in the MPC which saves a lot of time.

The MPC is in 100% perfect working order, I use it almost every day in the studio, all pads and knobs work perfectly, screen is clear with no issues. it’s in very good physical condition, beautiful machine and I hate to see it go. there’s many MPCs on ebay but you don’t often see one with all the bells and whistles like this including the FX board which is very cool.”

It is maxed out with 32mb’s of Ram for Sampling
Running the latest Akai Operating System version 1.20 with disk included
Equipped with eight assignable outputs and S/PDIF digital I/O for direct digital sampling (from DAT or CD) and digital stereo mix output

The screen is a bit faded but still easy to read, i have owned units with screens that last many years like this.
All the pads, buttons and knobs work except the note variation slider.
It has minor scratches and scuffs but is a sturdy metal unit ready for production!”

“Selling my MPC2000XL that’s in great condition. I used this in my smoke-free studio and everything works 100%. Screen still bright, floppy drive works, no issues with the pads or buttons, no issues with the inputs or outs. It has been maxed though to 33mb of RAM and includes the power cable. Cosmetically it’s ok great shape. Usually wear from age but no major damage

“For Sale is an Akai mpc 2500 with 16mb of storage. I am no expert in this equipment as it was disposed of at my place of work but a friend who is conversant in this equipment has looked at this and advised on the following details to mention:The touch pads don’t appear to be working. The 3rd photo shows that we disassembled to see if we could source the problem. A new touch pad is quite easy to source online and replace for around £70.the item may have been knocked at some point as it doesn’t sit completely level on a flat surface but this doesn’t appear to have drastically affected the mixer and its performance. He tested the item as it had some pre programmed sounds in it and they worked fine through the stereo jack port. Akai MPC 2500 with 128MB RAM

” MPC 2500 sampler great working order custom 808 thick fat pads + knobs. AKAI OS 1.24. Condition is Used. Maxed out 128 mb RAM. This unit has some signs of wear and tear but is completely functional.

Comes with power cord and printed and bound hard copy manual.

Known issues:

– The eject button for the CF card is missing (see picture). You can pull it out with fingers or use needle nose pliers to gently remove card if needed. I only removed the card once to test, the rest of the time I just transferred samples back and forth to card over USB to my PC. You don’t need any special software to do this, the MPC just shows up as a drive on your desktop

– The headphone jack is slightly pushed back from the metal frame. Still 100% functional (see picture)

– The white buttons have yellowed. This is a comment regarding aesthetics and has nothing to do with functionality (see pictures).
