“This Music Production Drum Machine is in Good cosmetic condition. The back left corner has some damage but does not appear to be adhering the functionality. The display screen has a couple fine scratches however, these scratches cannot be seen while in use. The pads, knobs, faders buttons and dials are all moving smoothly and properly as intended. The pads have been replaced with and aftermarket pads. The front panel is clean and free of damage to the pins for the memory slot. The rear panel is free of damage but does have some scratches. “This is an Akai MPC 2000xl. It’s has maxed out 32mb ram and new pad sensors. There are some marks on the unit from normal use. The bottom arrow button sticks a bit. Other than than the machine works great. It also has a 750 mb internal Zip drive disk that is newly refurbished and also works great. “Tested and fully functional Akai s2000 sampler. Includes the floppy disk boot up to start the machine with OS Ver 2.0, and also includes the original manual. Unit has 32MB Ram installed. Extreme amounts of rack rash and wear on the top and bottom of the unit. Front face looks much better. Back has a missing slot from where the 8 outputs card was previously pulled. Akai S1100

“I’m clearing out a lot of old kit from my home studio as I have just run out of room!

Here’s an Akai 1100 sampler. It’s been sat around and not used for several years. It’s in working order, and responds to MIDI as it should. Though, when I powered it up today I noticed that the display is really dim and not easily readable. I suspect the backlight has stopped working.
I believe this is a fairly straightforward fix.
I haven’t been able to test the floppy drive today, as I can’t find any floppy disks, but it did read a disk the last time I tried it.
