Upgrades:
The floppy drive has been replaced with a USB drive (1,000x the storage).
Maxed out RAM (32 MB, allows more samples to chop up real-time)

This is far more than a drum pad/sampler/sequencer, you can essentially program your entire setup through this thing if you want.

There are myriad reasons this is a truly impressive piece of gear, but my personal favorite is the option to NOT quantize triggers/beats/sequences. This really adds a lot to the music (there are loads of YouTube videos showing how this has been used for decades to bring life to beats).

Sold as is, no returns, only due to the age. But, again, this is a functional unit as shown in pictures.

” AKAI MPC 1000

Hey, here is a pre-owned Akai MPC 1000, blue edition. These were produced between 2003-2009, and this machine is still an industry standard when it comes to music production. The condition is very good, this was purchased by someone who had intent on producing, and turned to other hobbies. It was used very little, and spent most of it’s life in a box. This machine can still hold it’s own against other models like the 2500, ect. More specs below!
