Akai MPC 3000LE Limited Edition #0483

“Pre-owned Akai Mpc 3000 LE, Serial # 0483 in “very good” functional condition and ‘Okay” cosmetic condition. All buttons, rotary knobs, and pads, and the pitch control work great. LCD Screen is very bright and works well. The LCD screen is “Stuck” in the flat position which does not affect the function, (may have come off the track).

The unit face has a few scratches notably at the top of the LCD screen by the LE Silver Placard, a small puncture directly in the “M” above the LCD screen, and discoloration below the LCD screen. Also a few other surface scratching around the pads and armrest, (see pictures). The unit is missing the slider cap for the pitch control slider but does not affect the pitch function. Around Soft key #1 the faceplate looks modified, (see pictures). Buttons and pads feel and look new although I can’t verify if so……

I have tried to describe the unit as best as I can, but, please see the posted pictures documenting the cosmetic condition of the MPC 3000LE even further.

Akai MPC 500 with 128MB RAM

“I am selling an Akai MPC 500 in great condition. Fully working and functional, comes in its original packaging. The box is a bit dented but the MPC is barely used – my interest in music production didn’t last long! This thing is apparently really good for live shows because its small and fits in a rucksack but I haven’t taken it out of my bedroom.

Includes 128MB RAM installed in the back (see photo). I have just tested all the pads and they are all responsive. Comes with the original 128mb storage flash card.

Comes with the original power adaptor that it came with, which for some reason has an EU plug, but I am selling it with a UK plug adaptor which I have always used with it with no problems.” Click here to search for MPCs on eBay

“Purchased new from Digital Village for £799.00 to use as a drum machine for an acoustic duo project that never happened, this unit has never been used other than an initial exploration of features and sounds. I didn’t keep the carton it came in because I was expecting to keep it. Yes you will eventually upgrade the software and hard drive – or not – and I checked the pad sensors as per the test and they appear to be the modified version. Akai had issues with a batch with failing pad sensors.

Akai MPC 2000XL

“Very reluctant sale of my rarely used Akai mpc 2000 xl. This one is in amazing condition as you can see. Fully working and tested with 32meg installed. It also has all pixels on the display working fully as well as all pads and sliders. Basically if you want an mpc you won’t do better than this as I’ve just kept it boxed for ages with little use.

It comes with power lead and connectors, original mpc CD-ROM with akai beats, original instructions and box! What more could you ask for. This is a classic bit of hip hop kit and I will probably end up buying another if I have the time to write again.

” We have an excellent/mint condition Akai MPC 1000 that still has the original box/packaging and all accessories plus an extra long power cable and a 4gb kingston card. This unit works perfectly! All pads, buttons and LCD screens are flawless. This unit has been used lightly for special productions and we are now parting ways with this baby. If you want a analogue drum machine sound with midi and digital capabilities this is the perfect item. It runs a demo JJOS software demo as well as its native software.
