As it has 4 midi outs and 2 midi ins it can sit as the centre piece in your studio sequencing your hardware equipment (and help get you away from a computer screen should you choose) or equally it can be integrated into any midi set up modern DAW system.

Akai S1100

Great sampler, probably up there with the S950 in terms of character, punch and usefulness! but obviously not quite there in terms of studio must have fashion itemability……..yet. To be honest they are both very different beasts but the S1100 is more versatile in my opinion.

This one is fully working apart from the floppy drive, but the scsi port has been tested and works fine with my Zip drive and it includes a tiny internal drive (on the internal scsi connection).
