“This listing is for one Akai MPC-60 MK2 sampler/sequencer. It has been outfitted with the VIMANA OS that retains many of the quality-of-life features of the Akai MPC-3000 but doen’t affect the punchy sound quality of the MPC-60. Physically it is in good shape with a few marks here and there, mostly on the top/back of the unit. The buttons and pads are in very nice shape. Backlight is dim but readable, at night you may need a nearby lamp or light. Power supply has some brand-new Nichicon high-quality, long life capacitors. I replaced the aging floppy drive with a new HXC Floppy Drive emulator. This allows you to save your files to a USB drive for quick saving/loading. It is also FAR more reliable than using floppy disks. On a single USB drive you can store thousands of sounds, sequences, and songs. I will also include a power cable for the MPC. “Akai MPC 60 II Drum Machine Sampler Roger Linn Edition WORKING NOT TESTED. This has been painted. Powers up nicely, knobs and controls seem to work you can see the response on the screen. The contrast button works, you can read the screen with lights on in the room but you can not see the screen in the dark. Operation manual included.
