“This MPC is in decent condition, nice bright screen no dead pixels, but the main volume knob is a little bent and the right side of the casing is too. Headphone jack is finicky and crackles/ cuts in and out when it is moved. Probably a quick fix, but not quite sure. All other inputs and outputs work like new. Sold as is.

Had it looked at by a electronics engineer and it has a faulty mother board.
Some leads may be still be disconnected internally from testing.
Powers up to a white screen.
Has some missing buttons and a few screws (see pictures).

“I have a MPC 2000 Classic for sale. My boy bought it for me as a graduation gift, & he shipped it from Oakland, CA a month ago. I used to use a MPC2000XL, and this is a bit different for me; I tried it for a few weeks, and it just didn’t fit my workflow. I’m mostly into software sampling now, and I may use the money I get off of this to get a Ren or Touch. The unit has a standard floppy drive (I’m including 10 blank floppies and a USB floppy drive). It has the stock 2 MB RAM, which is about 22 seconds mono or 11 seconds of stereo sampling time. It does have the 8 outs expander for tracking to a DAW or mixer. The pads all have an excellent level of sensitivity. All buttons are knobs are fully functioning. All input and output ports function properly, and the floppy drive on the unit works well. The screen has a couple of lines (as seen in the picture), but nothing unbearable. It has no major scratches or dings beyond normal wear.
