This machine is alive, i am sad to see it go but im pushing to sell it as i just happen to need the cash for moving home etc.

“Originally purchased new from Digital Village to use as a drum machine for an acoustic duo project that never happened, this unit has never been used other than an initial exploration of features and sounds. I didn’t keep the carton it came in because I was expecting to keep it. Yes you will eventually upgrade the software and hard drive – or not – and I checked the pad sensors as per the test and they appear to be the modified version. Akai had issues with a batch with failing pad sensors.”

“Up for grabs is an awesome, upgraded MPC1000. Its the original blue version which has the sought after JJOS2XL operating system (worth well over £100), it has 128mb of RAM, a 1GB high speed CF card and also has the hard disk upgrade kit fitted with an 80GB drive.

The only ‘cosmetic’ upgrade is the screen facia has been changed for a silver one. The original blue is included in the sale as a spare. The MPC will ship with a power cable and the extras mentioned above only. No box or manual.
