I’m selling my much beloved Akai MPC 2000XL. It is a legendary sampler & sequencer that one of the best that have ever been made and will forever be an iconic piece of studio gear and music history.
Unfortunately, I no longer have space for the item so am looking to sell it to someone that will make the most of this incredible instrument. It has been kept in a smoke free space and is always transported and protect by its flight case.
The MPC is running OS 1.14. It has 18MB installed for sampling, giving you 106 seconds of sampling time. The unit also have the 8 output expansion card installed, though outputs 3&4 are distorted. I have included a photo of output 7/8 being displayed on the screen to show that the outputs are installed.
The unit has its original manual, which are very sought after in their own right. It also has an Iomega zip SCSI drive and cable, as well as some blank floppy discs to get you started.
