The unit has some light wear but nothing major, is very sturdy, and works as expected, except for the following issue: For some reason, the MPC crashes and restarts itself while receiving files over USB. I’m including an external CF card reader that allows you to bypass this issue — simply connect the reader to your computer, pop a CF card in, transfer your files, put the CF card back in the MPC. Good to go. The great news is, this method is significantly faster than the USB transfer process anyway, even if it was working as expected. Of course, if you’ll mainly be sampling directly into the MPC, you won’t even have to worry about any of this.”
