“Maxed out sample memory.

Flaws: Body has scratches, 3 led covers missing, up and down cursor not working ( but you can easily navigate screen with forward and back), 5 case screws are missing on back ( case still secure and doesn’t move). Everything works ( except up/ down cursor).

Included: User manual, power cord, sound disk, external Zip drive (good for adding sound libraries from the internet) and 8 new blank Zip disks.”

Akai MPC 1000 (red/black MPC stuff colourway). Fully functional and well maintained within a smoke-free studio. 128mb RAM installed running JJOS v 3.16. MPC will be provided with kettle lead power cable and a few low memory compact flash cards. Only cosmetic faults I would draw attention to are the faded look on the memory card slot and the REC button (both pictured for your own judgement). Bank button B is a tad stiff but functions fine. Screen appears slightly titled as photographed, although no text or borders are cut off from view.”

Akai MPC 2500 with 128MB RAM, DVD-ROM Drive

“A classic sampler revitalized and ready to use.

This unit was purchased a couple of years in rough condition (pads were nonfunctional, most buttons had issues) and has since been upgraded to make it usable again.

Upgrades:
128mb RAM
JJOS-XL 3.68 (paid version)
pad sensors, thick fat pads
aftermarket right-hand board featuring a new rotary encoder (MPC Stuff.com model)
replaced left hand (q-link) board
replaced F row button board
black/white screen
CD drive (not tested)

Includes 128mb CF card
Includes power cable
*No hard drive is included

The metal casing has a few rough spots (shown in the pictures), but is in overall fantastic condition and should last for many years to come. A true classic.

I have not used the CD drive much as I don’t have any CDs, but everything else on the unit has been tested and found to be working perfectly. All pads, buttons, sliders, rotary knobs and audio IO works as expected.”
