“Here is an extremely rare MPC2000XL that has been thoroughly cleaned inside. There are cosmentic scratches and paint chips on the outside of the MPC but this does not hinder the operation of the unit. I’ve been using this MPC in my smoke free studio for the past 3 years here in the states and 2 years in England with no problems.
What makes this MPC2000XL very rare is…
– When this MPC is connected to a Mac via the SCSI to USB cable, you can drag and drop files to the “A” SCSI partition of the internal hard drive for easy editing. The “A” SCSI partition already has 500MB worth of samples for FREE! (see last pic)
– It has an internally modded 8GB hard drive with 9 partitions to save and load samples.
– The ultra rare Microtech PCD-47B SCSI card reader with hot-swappable 3 card slots is installed for reading and writing to flash cards
– the IB-M208P 8-outs circuit board is installed with nuts for better securing the board to the rear of the MPC
– Rare EB16 effects card is installed
– Rare SMPTE chip is installed
– Uses SCSI #0 (internal Hard Drive),1,2 & 4 (all 3 Microtech PCD-47B slots)
– New blue and red LEDs
– New blue LED screen so the screen will never go bad like the original screens do
– New Note Variation slider
– New red pads, black buttons and colored record and volume knobs
Please note that this sale comes with the complete MPC2000XL, a Microtech SCSI to USB cable, external HD50 SCSI cable and the power cable. Also, 1 SD card (128MB… has OS on it) and 2 512MB CF cards are included in this purchase. All 3 cards were formatted on a PC so they can be hot-swapped to be used between the MPC or Mac/PC.”
